History Detectives is devoted to exploring the complexities of historical mysteries, searching out the facts, myths and conundrums that connect local folklore, family legends and interesting objects.
The History Detectives team crisscrosses the country in search of answers to some of our most probing questions. Traditional investigative techniques, modern technologies, and plenty of legwork are the tools the History Detectives experts uses to give new - and sometimes shocking - revealing insights into our national history.
Lion Television also created the History Detectives website for PBS.
